The Great Flood
Hello family and friends. It has been a week since my last entry but the time has gone by quite quickly. Refering to the subject line above...this is two fold: I am rapidly learning another aspect of my profession that I never expected to be a part of the Infantry. Fortunately I'm taking to the challenge and enjoying the never ending problems that keep presenting themselves. I however, cannot explain to you these issues just yet...yeah for operational security! Secondly it has been raining here for the last three days at about an inch a day...no drainage systems equals me skipping stones in water puddles the size of ponds in the desert. I'll post pictures when I can. It was nice to talk to most of you over the last couple of days. Love you all. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!

It was so nice to get to chat a little bit while ash was here! We missed you at Thanksgiving, but I missed you more yesterday b/c I watched the Band of Brothers marathon on TV and I felt like you should have been planted on the couch next to me! haha. When you get home...we're having a Band of Brothers marathon to remember the time I invaded your house for 6weeks :) hope thats cool with you haha.

ReplyDeleteB-Nan! Can you run and jump in the puddles like we used to at Grandma Pat's? I bet I could make a bigger splash:) I head back to work tomorrow and Lilian has her first day of day care. We put our Christmas tree up yesterday...Lily likes to stare at the lights;) Enjoy the rain...those days are probably few and far between! I love you!
