Our family celebrated Thanksgiving together this past weekend in Cincinnati. During dinner we had some fun with Brandon's picture! As requested, we served Brandon one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer;) He also had the honor of becoming TurNANkey with the smoked turkey that Mark spent hours cooking and injecting with juices (DELICIOUS!) Ashley and Lily made sure that he got some love, too. We love you and miss you, Nan!
Those are awesome pictures! I guess having a life-sized picture of Brandon's face is the next best thing to having him here! We had a great day and a good part of it was spent as a tribute to Brandon. We love you and miss you, but I hope you don't mind that we had a little fun at your expense! The TurNANkey was delicious, and I'm sure by the time you get back to the states Mark will have mastered the art of the smoker. Next time you're home we can have an awesome dinner with menu selections from Mark's vast recipe library! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving with your Brothers. Until next time...Momma 8, OUT!
Hey all. Just figured I would share my Turkey day since it involves B. Been in Iraq for almost a week with out him, which makes me a sad panda. However after a few hours of work today I quit, got some turkey and began reallocating property for B's CHU (containerized housing unit). Also for the civilians; reallocation is the systematic theft of property in the ARMY. B-->I still have all your cash and too much crap to fit into the CHU. Also I have a present for you. Here is a hint. OW! I can't see or hear anything! Happy turkey day bro bro.
MARION! Happy to hear you made it safely and you are pimping out the homestead:) Also, great that you were able to celebrate thanksgiving while playing in the sandbox! We are all thinking of you today (as everyday!) and look forward to more posts from you in the future:) Happy Thanksgiving!
